Meet the Team! We promise we won’t bite.

M. Miche Rayment, Consultant, Primary Trainer and Author
Based in Michigan, US

You are leaning on more than 30 years of intentional study and shoes-on-the-ground experience in what makes humans, and the teams they form, work exceptionally well. I founded The Hire Effect™ to share the proprietary hiring process and consulting tools for high performing teams. These processes and tools helped me lead my team and keep my biases for people in check – just because you like them doesn’t mean they are good at what they do or a good addition to your team.

My background isn’t just in business; it’s a 40-year fundamental exploration into philosophy, biology, anthropology, psychology and linguistics – which in most people’s experience makes me a hyper-communicator. I’ve spent decades studying with business facing groups applying these domains to business settings and then many deep dives with speakers like Edgar Schein, Trabian Shorters, David Cooperrider, Adam Kahane, Elisabeth Lesser, Brene Brown, Werner Erhard, Fernando Flores and so many others to apply this to business teamwork.

I’ve been called easy but intense, clever yet silly, boring and, at the same time, fascinating. It’s all relative.

S. Fin Suboski, Operations Assistant
Based in Scotland

My mission is to use anthropological tools with an emphasis on power, identity, and inequality to help create healthier and more caring, curious communities. My focus is primarily around gender and racial structures and how we can work to debias both systems and individuals. With a degree focused in queer and activist Anthropology from the University of Michigan, expect nuance and care to be central.

You will see me primarily in my role as operations assistant helping with communications, technology, web design and aesthetics, meeting aid, and varied other supports. If you need anything, feel free to reach out to me and I’ll try my best to help however I can.

Many nights I can be found analyzing old drama, sci-fi, or horror media with a cup of tea beside me and my cat snuggled up in my lap (pictured to the left).
